Precision Parts Washer Ideal for Cells – less than 39″ of linear floor space

This compact precision washer – rinse – dry system takes up less than 39″ of linear floor space. As such it is well suited for a multitude of applications wherein precision cleaning is required. Each processing chamber has a transport elevator to take the work into and out of solution. The operator simply loads the platform and starts the cycle. The elevator automatically descends into solution and begins the first process. When complete the elevator ascends from solution with the basket. Leaning over the tank to manually place baskets in and out of solution is eliminated. The system includes patented RAMCO NFPA Floating Cylinders and a standard oscillation package using all NFPA components.

PROCESSING

The precision washing process consists of alternating cycles of agitation with turbulation and powerful ultrasonics. This pattern is repeated. Following precision washing the parts are transferred to an agitating rinse stage. Following rinsing the parts are transferred to a hot air knife dryer.

RAMCO AGITATION/TURBULATION WASHING WITH ULTRASONICS

This Unique Dynamic Flow Processing incorporates ultrasonic burst cycles into timed and alternating regimens such that the sonics works on the tenacious soils, loosens it, then the system automatically switches to agitation with hydraulic flushing, and then back again. This can be set to repeat any number of times depending upon the tenacity of the soils and the part substrates. This is very unusual and a major departure from traditional immersion cleaning tanks that may also use ultrasonics, but in a static way. We find this to be highly effective in producing clean parts, with speed and consistency.

The results are faster cleaning and more effective overall processing.

The ultrasonic stage can be set to provide vertical oscillation of the work during the cycle. A selector switch can be provided for static ultrasonic or oscillating ultrasonic modes. This capability and application provides superior ultrasonic washing action over conventional systems by moving the work through the peaks and nodes of the wave energy.

RAMCO AGITATION/TURBULATION WASHING

Agitation washing is enhanced when used in conjunction with a TurboFilter System. The turbo uses a high volume all stainless steel Gusher pump with cast stainless housing. Closed looped manifolds with multiple injectors direct solution to the working zone (see below). The system provides an even flow of turbulent solution over, under, around and through components. The flow is adjustable.

Ramco turbo systems are proven to accelerate processing time in washing and/or rinsing.

A filtration system is included with the turbo. It uses a stainless steel Rosedale filter canister with a bag element and is equipped with a stainless steel oil filled pressure gauge.

Following precision washing the parts are transferred to the rinse stage. Again the operator simply make the transfer and press the start button. The rinse process also includes alternating cycles of agitation with turbulation and powerful ultrasonics. This pattern is repeated. Following rinsing the parts are transferred to a very effective hot air knife dryer.
