RAMCO MKD24 Series Immersion Wash / Dry System

RAMCO sets the standard for flexible modular washing systems. The MKD24 wash/dry is an industrial strength console built for the rigors of production. The basic system is very flexible, designed to accept a broad range of auxiliary items, making it adaptable and suitable for a wide variety of applications. The layout is unlike conventional consoles. The front of the console includes operator control push-button stations for each stage (see above). The rear of the console is accessible for maintenance and service. Nothing is placed underneath processing tanks or tucked behind “access” panels. Piping, control valves, pumps, filter housings, pneumatic cylinders, heating elements, immersibles, generators, etc. are all located outside the console, clearly visible for inspection and access. The system is built in accordance with Nema 12 electrical and NEC codes including the control panels, switches, pilot lights and lockout-tagout disconnect switch.

The console runs left to right. The system consists of an immersion wash stage that can accept up to a 20″ long x 20″ wide basket with a gross weight of 150 pounds. Oil removal and turbo/filtration systems are used for the wash. The wash process includes MultiPort Oscillation to allow blind holes to oscillate in and out of solution. This feature augments the washing action by filling and draining blind holes. The parts are dried in a very effective hot air knife/blow-off drying stage. Both stages include digital cycle timers and temperature controllers. Platform roller conveyors are included on both stages to facilitate transfer.
